SOPRANO

Tania was introduced to choral singing at Westlake Girls High School, singing with Key Cygnetures. She went on to join the NZ Youth Choir, further developing her passion for music. Tania studied a Bachelor of Music at Auckland University, followed by a teaching diploma. She spent time developing local adult and children’s choirs in the Warkworth and Kaipara Flats area as well as itinerant teaching with a big focus on primary aged children. She then moved south to Marton where she became a valued staff member at the Rangitikei College music department. Tania passed away suddenly in 2011, aged 29.
