Penny, originally from England, moved to New Zealand in 2006 where she attended Hutt Valley High School. She was a member of the New Zealand Secondary Students Choir 2007-2008 touring South America.

She has a BA in Music and Theatre and a Graduate Diploma in Secondary School Teaching. Currently she is working as Music and Drama teacher at Wellington East Girls’ College.

Penny also works as a make-up artist in her spare time, and enjoys being outdoors and travelling.
